Isabela Grosseová

Born in 1976

Isabela Grosseová was originally interested primarily in the division line between art, design and architecture. This is characteristic for her “Habitable Pictures” which attracted attention already in 2001. In 2003, she continued with her series “Habitable Sculptures” made out of objects found in the streets of New York. Since 2005, she has cooperated with Jesper Alvær, enriching her interest in architecture with the social aspect. In their common projects Transculture and Transculture 2, they are exploring the relationship of the West to the citizens of countries bordering with the European Union and to the Middle East, which is little known despite its being relatively close.
