Václav Magid

Born in 1979


A second-time finalist of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award, Václav Magid has presented his works at a solo exhibition at the Atrium of the Moravian Gallery in Brno in 2012 and was selected primarily on the basis of his latest projects realized since his previous participation in the finale of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award in 2010. In these exhibitions, he has analytically explored the mutual positions of art, philosophy, aesthetics and the social sphere.
